Ronaldo Menezes is associate professor in computer science at Florida Institute of Technology. He received Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of York, UK. He is a member of many organizations such as IEEE (Senior Member), ACM, SBC (Brazilian Computing Society). He served as an elected official for the ACM SIGAPP for nearly 6 years, he is a member of the steering committee of CompleNet and a member of the Executive Committee of the IEEE Task Force on Network Science. Dr. Menezes directs the BioComplex Laboratory at Florida Tech focusing on research on Complex Networks, Bio-Inspired Computing and Coordination Systems. He has published more than 65 peer-reviewed publications in these fields and has collaborated with more than 30 researchers worldwide. In the BioComplex Laboratory, Dr. Menezes directs 15 students and researchers and have active funding from the NSF and Funcap (a Brazilian funding agency).
